Performance Point 2007 Bootcamp

Description

This four day course is a fast-paced, instructor-led tour of Microsoft PerformancePoint Server 2007. The purpose of the course is to provide students with general and detailed information on the deployment, architecture and utilization of PerformancePoint Server to monitor and analyze key business metrics as well as plan and model business metrics. .

During the four days of class through lecture and hands-on exercises students will:

* Be familiarized with a comprehensive view of PerformancePoint system architecture.
* Learn how to build business models and how to add and maintain dimensions to PerformancePoint Server.
* Create security roles and users
* Create and manage PerformancePoint cycles
* Link users with cycles
* Build forms and reports using the PerformancePoint Server Add-In for Excel
* Create and maintain rule based calculations and data handling within PerformancePoint Planning
* Monitor and analyze key business metrics with PerformancePoint dashboards and scorecards
