Description
This seminar style course is designed to help students discover their motivations and instincts, fostering a deeper awareness of person vision while refining the use of photographic tools such as composition, lighting and darkroom techniques (both analog and digital) to convey their point of view. Focusing on each student as an individual photographer, classes will combine lively group discussion of completed assignments with the examination of historical work and visits by working professionals. Students will also be encouraged to bring non-assigned personal work for group discussion and critique.
PREREQUISITE: Black and White 1 or Digital Photography 1 or Equivalent.
