Thailand Through the Lens - Travel Workshop

Description

In this new and exciting travel workshop, PCNW faculty member Patricia Ridenour will lead students on a 14-day tour through Thailand, revealing an amazing country full of rich visual imagery. Explore travel photography from every aspect of the medium - portraiture, landscape, fine art and architecture to still life, dance, editorial, and night photography. Patricia is passionate about helping photographers refine their vision and take their work to the next level. She will discuss concept, light, exposure, composition, color temperature, and how to be ready for the decisive moment. Enjoy an itinerary designed with the photographer in mind, including benefits such as site visits scheduled for the best light and model releases obtained from professional Thai dancers. Students may use digital or film cameras for this workshop offering - SLR, medium and large format cameras are all acceptable.

$300 deposit + $15 registration fee due at the time of registration. Tuition balance due by December 1st, 2008. Tuition includes accommodations, entrance fees, group travel expenses, and some meals.
