Piano Lessons

Description

I teach students of all ages from my home on First Hill near Downtown Seattle. I am available for private instruction from 1pm - 7:30pm, Monday through Friday. Whether it is classical, pop, jazz or just basic keyboard skills, I tailor lessons to suit your goals and needs.

Music is my passion. I have been performing on the piano since a child and have won numerous awards and scholarships. I have experience with chamber music, modern works, jazz and improvisation. Also, I have performed in numerous master classes for piano greats including Leon Fleischer.

My background in composing acoustic and electronic music has led to my music being featured for film, dance, and art installations. You can find my pop music on iTunes and me performing around town.

When not consumed by my music activities, I love to get outside and experience nature. I just finished in September '08 a five month hike from the Mexican border to Chinook Pass in Washington via the Pacific Crest Trail and hope to finish the last 300 miles next summer.

Pricing Details

I charge a monthly tuition. For 45 minute lessons each week, I charge $100 a month - ideal for beginning & intermediate children and adult beginners. For 1 hour a week, I charge $125 a month - ideal for advanced children and adults.
