Description

Pilates uses exercises created by Joseph Pilates. The Mat Class concentrates on the strengthening and stretching of the entire body with emphasis on developing strong abdominal, back, butt and deep postural muscles, which make up the powerhouse of your body. Pilates addresses the body as a whole, with the use of breath and internal work of the torso, you can help your body's assymmetries and weeknesses to prevent reinjury and bring the body back into balance. Pilates can help you to gain muscle tone, decreased back pain and increase body awareness and flexibility.
