Description

This action-packed 4-week intensive, will concentrate on dramatic structure and the elements that are necessary to sustain a full-length piece of work. Working with assigned actors, in a rehearsal atmosphere, playwrights will complete a longer piece, hear the play read aloud, receive constructive feedback, do a rewrite, and then hear the play read again. Playwrights should plan to have a list of characters, with basic age and gender information for your play, and at least 15-minutes of writing ready for the first class. Actors will have a unique opportunity to originate a role, work directly with playwrights and meet the challenge of giving life to a character in progress.
