Description

This workshop explores both technical and conceptual approaches to monotype printmaking. Using paper, ink, and a press, students will layer color and texture to make one-of-a-kind images. Students will also learn to add pattern and photographic elements using a common Xerox, gum arabic, and ink. These techniques can be used independently or combined.

Studio Classes
$200 Frye members
$240 nonmembers

Educators:
In addition to the course fee, for each art studio course please pay SPU $80 if you want to receive two SPU credits; $30 if you want twenty clock hours. For each art history class please pay SPU $40 if you want to receive one SPU credit; $15 if you want ten clock hours. All fees for credits or clock hours are paid directly to SPU on the first day of class. Do not include payment for credits and clock hours with your workshop registration.
