Review of Jenny Wilkson , November 25, 2008

the Intro to Letterpress class at the School of Visual Concepts is in a comfortable, well lit studio with a number of well maintained presses and many many drawers of type and ornaments. the studio is available for use outside of class 5 days a week and access to highly trained TA's is available every saturday. this combination of access, trained support and well maintained equipment is a great support for adult students who are taking this class in addition to maintaining full-time work schedules. the office staff at the school are informed, friendly and eager to help. there is even a free snack bar available before class! i am disabled and found the staff to be extremely accommodating.

Review of Jenny Wilkson , November 24, 2008

Jenny is very helpful and positive. Karl was a good addition to help with the linoleum cuts. I was unaware how much time and energy must be used to get the perfect results of a broadsheet well done. Next time I will add more colors and depth to my piece. I was happy to get my 50 done as the press was not cooperating. I learned about spacing, design and mixing ink.
and how important it is to have a slave.
    Thank you Jenny and Karl.
