Vajrasattva Practice

Description

Vajrasattva is the Buddha's manifestation symbolizing complete purification of all inner and outer obstacles. By invoking the enlightened energy of purification and utilizing the four opponent powers, we can purify all negative karmic seeds and prevent them from ripening, removing the causes for physical disease, poverty, and all forms of external obstacles.

Even more important, we remove internal obstacles to our Dharma practice, subduing the disturbing attitudes, and creating the merit to receive teachings from qualified teachers in this and all future lives. Some knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism is helpful, though not required.

Senior students will lead the practice. This practice session is open to those without Vajrasattva empowerment.
