Description

Rowing (crew) offers a low-impact workout that benefits the entire body. Lake Union Crew’s popular Learn to Row class will teach you the fundamentals of both sweep rowing, (one oar) sculling, (two oars) in addition to the basics of boat handling. Whether you want to row fast as part of a team, or picture yourself gliding along in a single, this is the place to start. REQUIREMENT: Participants will be required to sign a waiver stating that they can stay afloat for 10 minutes. $85 materials fee payable to instructor first class. 11 Sessions Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 8:00AM - 9:30AM. Tuesday/Thursday classes meet in the evening, 6:30-8:00pm. Saturday classes meet 9:30-11:00am.
