Skiing in Seattle, WA
Skiing is a winter sport. Skiers put a long board, called a ski, on each foot and slide across the snow. There are many kinds of skiing, including Nordic (cross-country skiing) and alpine (downhill skiing). When Nordic skiing, a skier moves under his or her own power, while alpine skiers ride chairlifts up mountains, then slide back down.
