Introduction to Glass Fusing Workshop

Description

Glass fusing is a fast growing segment in the art glass world. New products, tools and innovative processes have made fused glass a popular and more affordable pursuit for hobbyist. In this introductory workshop, participants will create three fused glass projects using several techniques, with a variety of glass types. We will discuss many methods of combining and firing glass to acheive different results. Students will gain an understanding of the fusing process, tools and materials, glass compatibility and kiln operation. Emphasis is placed on learning techniques and skills. All materials are included. No experience required. Pre-registration required.
