Stained Glass: Introduction to Copper Foil

Description

Made popular by the windows and lamps of Louis Tiffany, the copper foil stained glass technique offers an "organic" sense of line and gives the artist the ability to work in three dimensions. Second generation stained glass artist Zac Fulton will provide instruction on cutting, glass selection, soldering and more, while creating a copper foiled glass window. Class will meet five consecutive weeks. In addition to tuition, students can expect to spend $150 - $300 for tools and materials. Emphasis is placed on learning techniques and skills. No experience required. Pre-registration required.
