Formerly the Intermediate String Orchestra, this fun group is for those who are new to the orchestral experience - only moderate technical skills are needed. The music is graded at a level less advanced then Hildman Strings and represents all musical styles from Bach to Pop. There is an informal concert on the last day of each class section.

Founded in 1989, Music Center is Seattle's community music school and is an associate member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts and the Washington Music Educators Association.
