Creative Writing Lessons

Description

I.E. Tutoring offers private or small group lessons in creative writing: poetry, fiction, the personal essay, or a combination of these three. Lessons are open to all ages. Each lesson will have three basic components: assigned readings, writing exercises, and discussion of the writer's work for that week. All of these will be tailored to the writer's intentions and interests. We will assemble a book, a collection of poems, essays, or fiction, and learn the basics of publication in literary magazines.

Pricing Details

Private In-Office: $35.00/hour, Private In-Home: $40.00/hour, Punch Card Option: Purchase a 10-lesson punch card and receive the 11th lesson for free. This is only available for private lessons. Small Group In-Office: $15/hour, Small Group In-Home: $45/hour to be divided by up to 3 unrelated participants (for siblings tutored during the same hour, there is no fee beyond the private lesson). Groups may be of neighbors or classmates - if you would like this option and need assistance finding others interested, let us know. One free lesson whenever you refer a friend (received after your friend's first lesson)
