Description
Write a great personal statement for your college applications! Drafting the personal statement is often one of the scariest parts of applying to college. Admission boards use personal statements as an opportunity to get to know students beyond what their transcripts and test scores demonstrate. In our Personal Statement Workshop, Sonya will teach students how to use their unique life story, extra curricular work, and academic experiences to compose an organized, thoughtful and intriguing essay that is both a reflection of who they are and a compelling picture for the admission boards. This workshop is designed to help students explore their meaningful learning opportunities of the past, reflect on how these experiences affected them and craft an essay that highlights distinctive qualities. Our Personal Statement Workshop will take the student from thinking about what to write to having a drafted, reviewed, edited, and finalized version of their personal statement, ready to submit.
