Maple Leaf Community Yoga is a boutique studio offering Purna Yoga education. We believe that yoga is more than just a workout. Here, students learn that true health is the result of recognizing and attending to their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. To support this multi-layered approach to wellness, we offer Purna Yoga classes, workshops, lectures, teacher training, apprenticeships and special events.
Our highly trained teachers offer a variety of safe, student-centered yoga classes in a non-competitive, comfortable environment. The quarterly class schedule ensures growth opportunities for everyone from beginners to experienced teachers. We believe that yoga is best learned in small groups. We therefore limit class size to eight in order to provide the best experience for each student. Here, you can expect personalized attention and a hands-on approach to learning the art and science of Purna Yoga.
A regular yoga practice provides the greatest benefits for change and growth - on all levels. We encourage students to take advantage of multiple classes, open studio time, specialized workshops, and private or semi-private instruction. Your practice will help you develop the tools needed to create more strength, balance and flexibility...in your body and in your life. I have enjoyed all of my classes with Kelly. She is deeply knowledgeable about yoga and is able to pass that knowledge on to her students. She takes care to make sure students are in the proper poses so as to avoid injury. Kelly's calm manner is what first impressed me years ago when she was teaching a class at another studio. It prompted me to ask if she taught elsewhere, and that's when I found out about Maple Leaf Community Yoga, Kelly's own studio. The space is clean and the sessions I have attended have never been overcrowded -- in fact, sometimes I was one of two students who were able to show up on a particular day. I strongly recommend Maple Leaf Community Yoga for students of all ability levels.

I am a Certified Purna Yoga Instructor at the 2000-hour level. My studio offers safe, student-oriented yoga and meditation classes in Maple Leaf (just a mile north of Green Lake). We keep classes small, so you never feel lost in the crowd!
While most of my classes are general, I specialize in women's health...particularly prenatal yoga. I am a Yoga Therapist as well, so I offer private yoga instruction to anyone interested in using the varied tools of Purna Yoga to aid their healing and growth.
When I'm not teaching, practicing, or simply running the studio, I try to engage in some of my favorite activities: time with my husband, fun with our dog, knitting, baking, reading and relaxing.
