Wow! Deborah ,
I think you are missing the point of the article and that is to use what we have . Lots of people are out of work , lots of people just make minimum wage . The point is that they dont' have to have alot of money to buy new clothes , when the ones they have that are just hanging in the closet collecting dust may just be out of date , the fabrics are still worth something , not to mention the use of their own imaginations and creativity to create their own line of fashions . I'm not fashion designer , I'm a pratical , level headed women that has never had alot of money and has always found ways around that fact . Up Cycling means that you take something that is out of date and will never see the light of day and create something new , creative , fun and uses for the fabrics and promotes a can do mentality for those of us that need that lift . I am teacher and innovator , I'm proud of that fact and I travel the country and teach in many many shops that hire me to come in and teach many subjects and this is just one of them . Its good to be practical and to have fun and chill out a bit ! Try it ! Have a great day and thanks for your response ,
“You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great." Psalm 18:35 (NIV)
