Create your own creatures for yourself or your favorite little ones. You will learn tips and secrets for making a variety of 3-D shapes. You can mix and match these pieces to build your own toys dolls and objects. Learn the difference between working in a spiral or in the round and how to document your own patterns. Whether you have made Amigurumi before or not, you will discover many new creative possibilities. This is a skills class, not a finished project class. Basic crochet knowledge needed (chain and single crochet).
Prerequisite skills: Chain stitch, Single Crochet
Supplies:
* worsted weight yarn, 3 colors: light, pastel, medium
* sizes D & E crochet hooks
* locking ring markers
* small tapestry needle (size 18-22)
* small amount of poly fill (stuffing)
* notebook (optional)
* various small amounts of yarn (optional)
* crochet hook smaller than D (optional)
