Get your craft on and make some hand-made goodness for your friends, pets and loved ones. Take home several unique 2-D and 3-D fabric and mixed media creations. In this free form creative class we will focus on recycled felt, wool and fabric scraps, hand sewing and embroidery techniques, an introduction to soft sculpture as well as basic machine skills. Projects are open-ended and wide-ranging with provided supplies of magnets, catnip, misc. buttons, yarn, ornaments, etc. Students should have sewing machine skills including back stitching, turning corners and sewing curves. Project ideas, assorted fabrics, stuffing and cat nip as patterns will be on hand, students are encouraged to bring scraps!
