Review of Private Voice or Piano Instruction, June 04, 2008

I came into Celeste's tutelage as the winner of her generous donation to a silent auction. Having done lots of musical theater in my youth (I'm currently in my mid-thirties) minor amounts of formal training and wanted to try (re)training my voice and return to the stage. After my first few "free" sessions, there was no doubt that I wanted to continue working with Celeste.

As a teacher, I feel Celeste has both a strong command of technical training and a clear and engaging manner for conveying the lessons. She was quickly able to bring me to a point of performing classical pieces I wouldn't have thought to put in my repertoire. Further, her intuitive manner regarding musical theater was also invaluable in matching audition pieces to both my voice and personal style.

I wouldn't hesitate a moment to recommend Celeste as an instructor.
