An in-depth examination of Shakespeare’s most compelling and intriguing tragedy, a story of sexual jealousy and intrigue involving Othello, the noble Moor; his aristocratic Venetian wife; Iago, a man eaten up by jealousy and hate and his frustrated wife Emilia; and Michael Cassio, a man “born to make women false.” Course will include discussions and perhaps some film clips.
