Joseph Kaminsky founded Advantage Tutoring in 2004. He first started tutoring students in Biochemistry that were applying to Pharmacy School. He soon expanded his clientele to include students from elementary, middle, and high school. Before long Joseph was tutoring students off all ages, grades, and subjects. Joseph's "knack" at taking failing students and raising their grades to high B's and A's inspires him to reach as many students as possible. Joseph graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Memphis with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Chemistry. Along with his 5 years of tutoring experience that includes over 2000 hours of tutoring, he was trained by the University of Memphis's Educational Support Program to be a tutor. In addition to running a tutoring business, Joseph is also a research scientist in the field of Pharmacology, pet therapy hospice volunteer, and hopeful medical school candidate.
