Andrea Rae, a native Australian, is the owner of Alinga Bodywork which was founded in 2007.

Andrea has worked in healthcare since the early 90’s and started her career as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. In 1997 she began to understand the power of energy work when she studied Reiki. Looking for more experience in working with energy she embarked on a three year course of study in Shiatsu, in the UK.

In 2004 she went on to become a Reiki Master Teacher through the Reiki Training Program in Seattle.

Andrea is also a certified BodyTalk Practitioner and has completed all the advanced modules. Energy medicine is a rapidly growing field, and BodyTalk is leading the way. It is a system that helps the body heal itself, and it gets results. She is currently studying Parama Level 1.

Andrea is a Licensed Massage Practioner, and her massage therapy training was completed in 2006 at Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, which brought her full circle, reconnecting her with her Occupational Therapy roots.

Within her practice, she works with a range of clients including those with neck and back pain, emotional issues, specific injuries (Aetna, Cigna and Uniform accepted), and clients feeling blocked physically and emotionally.
