I am an English and Spanish teacher. TESOL certified through S-TESL in Seattle. I also have a wealth of experience teaching and tutoring the Spanish language. I have lived for years in South America and also am proficient in Quechua, an important indigenous language of the Andean Region. I have a BA in International Affairs and Latin American Studies from The George Washington University, and hope to return to school to study Multilingual and Multicultural Education. I currently teach in after school Spanish programs at Maple Elementary on Beacon Hill and at The Valley School in Madison Valley. I teach English at CASA Latina, a center for day-laborers and domestic employees from Latin America. I also work with a number of clients tutoring and giving private lessons in Spanish.
