I live in the Mission District of San Francisco. I am currently teaching at a Marin Day Center, located in Down Town Embarcadero. Right now I enjoy working with infants, toddlers and pre-school children, but I also look forward to working with school age children soon.

I recently wrapped up a session volunteering with Jumpstart in one of their Bayview locations. We were implementing a new curriculum; according to past corps members it was the first curriculum they had ever seen. It was a great experience, we learned a lot and it was fun. I hope to work with them again.

I graduated from SFSU in 2007 with a BA in theatre arts, but soon found out that although my creative spirit loves scenic design; my heart really belongs to my community and its future. I hope that someday I will be able to blend the two, but right now I am studying and working hard to get myself into a good teaching credentials program.

This summer, I will be taking a practicum course at City College and applying for my CA ECE permit.
