  i had little guitar experience before i started taking lessons with Arina, its been only two months and i can already read sheet music and play songs i never thought id be able to play. she is also one of the most encouraging teachers i have ever had. she is very intuitive and makes you feel comfortable in her presence.

  Arina is a most excellent teacher and an inspiring player.

  I have been studying with her for the past eight months and can say without hesitation that I have benefited tremendously from the experience.

  Of Arina's many strengths, a key one is her ability to gauge your skill level and give you just what you need to get you to the next level. Her fine sense of musicianship has been instrumental in helping me to bring out greater levels of expression from my playing as well as improve my technique, and her creativity and ability as a composer come through in a teaching style that emphasizes the importance of bringing one's own personality to a piece while also paying attention to its structural elements and the intentions of the composer.

  On top of all that, Arina is a very cheerful person who is easy to get along with and makes each lesson a lot of fun.

  I wholeheartedly recommend her!

  Review of Guitar Lessons: Classical, Flamenco, World, Folk., September 18, 2009

  I had the fantastic opportunity to take guitar lessons from Arina when I lived in the Bay Area. Despite her young age, she is truly an expert, with a vast knowledge of various guitar styles, with a unique approach to teaching and a very warm, engaging personality. Thanks to her, my technique has improved tremendously, she has taught me to play with feeling and even helped me gain peace and confidence when performing in front of people. Our lessons were a lot of fun and I was always leaving her studio feeling very inspired. I highly recommend everyone to not miss the chance to take lessons from Arina, she is a real gem.
