Art Waves is a group of three artists who are also moms who were activitly involved in their children's schools as parent volunteers. We are especially interested in reaching children whose schools cannot provide art related curriculum. We run our annual summer art camps, contracts with after school enrichment programs, and adult/children workshops exposing students to variety of art forms. Art Waves has also provided scholarships in support of school fund raising.
Qualifications
Education
- BS in Fine Art from PSU
- BFA in Graphic Design from University of Hawaii
Experience
- Experienced in various art mediums, ORA NW Jewish Artists member, Artists in Residence Capitol Hill Elementary, all are currently working with the Portland School, Tigard, or Beaverton School Districts in after school programs.
