Barbara Froula’s watercolors have a strong appeal to those who love historic architecture and cities. Combining travel with painting to create cityscapes of Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Prague Denver, Aspen, Vail, Boulder, and other much-loved places, she has published posters, fine art prints, books and over one million cards.

Travels to Tahiti, the Caribbean, Tuscany, Baja, the Galapagos Islands, and the National Parks of Arches, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and Canyonlands have inspired her landscapes. She enjoys the challenge of capturing luminosity in her garden paintings.

Barbara attended the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Auburn University, receiving a degree in Architecture and the AIA medal. She received an Award of Honor from Historic Denver and has painted commissioned work for numerous organizations.
