Heather Longhurst is in her seventh year as an instructor and choreographer with Pacific Ballroom Dance, a non-profit ballroom dance organization with a mission to build youth through ballroom dance. PBD is ranked among the top youth formation teams in the nation and is based in Auburn, WA.

Heather has dreamed for a long time of starting a ballroom dance program for young children, and launched Barefoot Ballroom in 2008. Barefoot Ballroom is dedicated to teaching your children how to develop creativity and confidence through self-expression and movement.

Barefoot Ballroom is pleased to welcome two new instructors this year--Madison Lund and Lara Nelson. Madi and Lara both have extensive ballroom dance training, as well as training in other styles of dance. Madi and Lara have competed and performed with PBD as two of its premiere dancers. They are both very excited to share their knowledge and passion for dance with the children in their classes.
