I've been performing on drums since 1974. Teaching drums, a natural extension of my love for percussion, began in 1979. (BA Music UC Davis, Masters Music Contra Costa Community College District) I have a background playing in many styles of music including recording. As a teacher my greatest strengths are my enthusiasm and my vast experience with students from beginners to professionals. Both as a drummer and a teacher I am always trying to improve. My teaching studio is all about music. It's large, has two drum sets and a piano plus all the tech tools needed to bring us into the 21st century.
