The Boulder Photo Center is the Boulder area's oldest Photography School. We have a Black & White Darkroom, a Digital Darkroom, 2 rental shooting Studios, and a Gallery, at 2210 Pearl Street.
Our Photography Classes have taught more than 10,000 students the joy of good photography. We offer several photography classes 5 semesters a year at the Photo Center on Pearl Street, as well as through the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department, the University of Colorado and Naropa University in Boulder.
Don Oberbeck, owner of the Boulder Photo Center, has been a professional photographer and teacher for more than 30 years. He is a photojournalism and fine arts photography instructor who specializes in composition,
camera use, and darkroom printmaking techniques.
Also, for more than 15 years, he has enjoyed teaching
Adobe Photoshop and Digital Photography classes.
