Brian Jolly grew up in West Seattle and studied pre-med before deciding to realize his dreams in the world of dance. Brian is a unique talent in the Northwest, winning the 2003 US Professional National Rising Star American Rhythm Championship at the Emerald Ball in Los Angeles, placing second in the United States and the world at the World Professional American Championships and placing second in the world at the Invitational British Exhibition Championships in Blackpool, England. He trained extensively in London, England with Latin legend Paul Killick, and in the US with Bob Powers, Louie Van Amstell and Slavik Kryklyvyy. Brian is a sought-after coach who is brought in to studios throughout the United States to share his knowledge and passion with students, amateurs, pro-am competitors, and professionals.
Working with Brian is his partner Alison Epsom, a student of The English National Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School, and graduate of the London Studio Center, where she gained BA Hons in Theater Dance with First Class Honors. She has toured the world with Irish dancing star Michael Flatley and Latin champion Paul Killick, performing from Budapest to Hong Kong and from London to New York. She is currently an instructor at The International School of Classical Ballet and she enjoys all areas of dance, including teaching ballroom and Latin with Brian.
