Bullseye Glass Co.

Portland, OR

Bullseye Glass Co. is a leader in promoting glass art worldwide—through quality production of colored glass for art and architecture, research, education, and the presentation of innovative glass art in our fine arts gallery.

In our Portland (Oregon) factory, we manufacture colored glass for use in art and architecture. We're noted as the first company in the world to formulate and manufacture glasses that are factory-tested for fusing compatibility. Five days a week our skilled craftspeople pour, roll, and shape glass into sheets and other forms, using methods rooted in the late seventeenth century and re-invented by company founders in the 1970s. Bullseye provides more than 1,000 different glass products in a complex color palette to artists worldwide. We are constantly exploring new product possibilities and have been called “the most sophisticated glass-coloring company in the world” by legendary chromaphile Dale Chihuly.

Adjacent to our factory are the Bullseye Research & Education Studios, where we foster fine design and craftsmanship in glass art, as well as innovation with materials and methods. The seven artist/technicians who comprise this department teach state-of-the-art classes in glass kilnforming and torchworking, conduct product tests, and provide technical support to customers and visiting artists from around the world. Technical advances made in our studios are documented in our educational publications and are presented to the public on our website and in free on-site lectures.

Classes shown on Teachstreet are just some of the many we offer. For complete information, visit www.bullseyeglass.com/education.
