Buttercup Beads is a new! Full Service Bead Store and Artisan Gallery nestled in a warm country setting. We are located in Montgomery County, between the Sanatoga and Armand Hammer exits off Route 422, and just minutes from the Philadelphia Premium Outlets.
We strive to bring you high-end, and unusual findings for all of your creative jewelry making needs. We specialize in hand lampworked beads, porcelain, and fine silver/clay pieces by local artists; as well as bring you a beautiful array of Japanese seed beads, including Delica, gold-filled and various sterling findings including Saki, Bali & Hill Tribe, Swarovski crystals, Furnace glass beads, Semi-precious stone beads, Freshwater Pearls, Vintaj Brass, Czech, florals, and a whole garden of exciting Czech glass beads just waiting to be picked. We also sell most every tool and accessory you might need for your own bead box or special project - and if we don't have it we usually can (and will) get it for you.
We have the absolute best jewelry making classes in most every media and technique everything from beginner to advanced techniques - surely, something for everyone.
Twice monthly, we hold free bead soiree nights - where you can bring a project you're working on, or start a new one in the company of other fine beading friends.

I've been taking classes at Buttercup Bans for a little over a year now. The teachers here are just simply the best. I can't say enough great things about Andrea, Gina, Carol, Ellen, and all the rest. There are always new designs and new techniques being taught that I'll never get bored.
Taking classes at Buttercup Beads is like a breath of fresh air. Most of the classes have 5 or fewer students, so everyone can get enough individual attention. Buttercup Beads has the best atmosphere for learning too. There's a nice, big table with good lighting.
Buttercup Beads is simply the best place for its classes and twice-monthly soirees (when we sit around the table and work on our own projects)!

Buttercup Beads is absolutely the best bead store around. I love this place! This cozy place has the most gorgeous beads in all colors, textures, sizes, and shapes, and at the best prices around. I also love all the numerous findings, seed beads, focal beads,and tools are also great too. If you are looking for a bead store that has great selection, staff, quality, prices and atmosphere no one out does Buttercup Beads. I have also taken several classes there (among the massive amount of choices to choose from) and the instructors are thorough, patient, cheerful and make it so easy to learn. This place is my favorite place in the world outside of my own home. Thank you for opening and changing my down time into something so much happier and creative!
