Catherine K Brown

Catherine K. Brown is a singer, voice teacher, and public relations consultant based in West Chester, PA. Her opera roles include Hanna in Oscar Straus’s A Waltz Dream with Concert Operetta Theater and the Third Boy in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the Academy of Vocal Arts. She has sung in the ensembles of Bizet’s Carmen (Rowan University Opera) and Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience (Savoy Company). Catherine holds a B.A. in music and German from St. Olaf College, where she was a recipient of the Harriet J. Marty Vocal Scholarship. Following graduation, she taught music and English in Germany on a Fulbright grant. She writes about singing on her blog, Finding My Singing Voice. Catherine has held public relations positions at the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Academy of Vocal Arts.
