  Christopher Woitach has been my Jazz guitar instructor of choice for the last 4 years.
  I studied with Christopher while attending Western Oregon University, I was an undergraduate music student studying classical guitar. After WOU I decided to continue private lessons with him here in Portland because he has so much to offer.
  Chris not only knows his theory but can implement it on the instrument immediately and effortlessly. Chris is already an accomplished performer, composer, teacher, recording artist, and nicest guy you'll ever meet.

  I highly recomend Christopher Woitach to anyone intrested in pursuing the guitar seriously, he is very capable at any skill level.

  Review of Christopher Woitach, August 18, 2008

  I have been studying with Christopher for three years, and I've made considerable progress. He is a fantastic guitarist, teacher, and has become a valued friend. Anybody willing to put in the practice time will benefit from Christopher's knowledge and practical advice. If you have the oppertunity to watch him perform live you will have no doubt in his skill level; his knowledge of a wide variety of musical styles and techniques bring a new perspective and a fresh voice to the jazz idiom. Jazz guitarist of any stylistic persuasion would benefit from his fresh approach to improvisation. He has my highest recommendation as a guitar instructor.
