Con Brio School of Music 2's Profile

The term 'Con Brio' is an interpretation marking for a piece of Music. It is Italian, and it means, 'Play with Spirit'. Con Brio is in it's fourth year. We want to put empahsis on education and experience, and we believe in it's visceral intent. The Con Brio School of Music is the ambition and profession of Larry Silvestro. Nature has provided us with the Gift of Music. Our job is to perpetuate it. And so, teachers come forth to pass on the knowledge and skill so that all of us can continue to communicate with the Unseen and with each other.

If learning Music interests you, the Con Brio School of Music teaches a variety of instruments and topics in the Study of Music. Included are:

- Organ

- Piano
- Saxophone
- Trumpet
- Tuba
- Violin

Beginning guitarists can learn chords, how to strum, solo, finger pick and Rock and Roll pyrotechniques. We teach Jazz, Blues and Classical.

Sax players can learn to solo and read. Keyboard players can learn Jazz, Blues and Rock and Roll.

Band players can learn woodwinds and brasswinds. Advance players can have their instruction tailored to them.

There are periodic concerts so students can display their abilities.

We often focus on teaching the skill of Musicality, i.e., playing with other musicians, accompaniment, creativity, feel and blending with the environment.

We teach the Art, work with Christian players and ask for the student's input. Music is a part of everyone's life.
More exists than what you see. Music allows us a glimpse.
