  Review of Learn more about adopting a child from foster care, June 10, 2009

  I didn't know much about the adoption process, so this two hour introduction by the folks at Amara (Danielle) and the adoption family that came in to answer questions (and brought their two adopted daughters) was incredibly helpful. It dispelled some misperceptions about the foster care process, and we left the session feeling much more comfortable about the process, and having a much better understanding of the costs and time involved.
