I've been a professional musician and teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years and at Drum World in San Mateo CA for the last 5 years. I believe that time, reading and good technique are of prime importance for any drummer. These skills will help give you a musical vocabulary and also aid you in being comfortable in most musical situations. The studio at Drum World is multimedia, incorporating the web to enhance the lessons, songs can be downloaded directly to the studio and be worked on immediately. Play-along tracks (music minus drums,) are also a big part of my program, which allows us to learn different styles in a recording studio environment.I also teach congas, timbales and bongos and believe in teaching "real life" skills for use in the music world.
