Dave is great. I learned a lot from this class, especially strategies for how to better choose appropriate Microfinance products to fit various situations. Dave's wealth of knowledge and experience of Microfinance coupled with his easy-going personality made this a great use of time and money. I especially appreciated the objective stance he took in proposing ideas and debating topics. It's all too easy to allow personal feelings about politics to bias one's opinions; Dave approaches problems with balance and objectivity leveraging experience from his various backgrounds (banking, entrepreneurship, and product development management) to render the most appropriate argument.

I highly recommended this class to anyone interested in broadening or rounding their understanding of Microfinance from a man with real-world experience.

I took this class during the last six-week series, and it was fantastic -- but, for the uninitiated, I'd warn you that it's pretty darn hard! Tricia (and Laurie) are very supportive, and make sure that everyone, including those who aren't in very good shape (like me!) feel comfortable and can take it at their own pace. The workout's stay fresh, and you leave with a pretty tremendous feeling of accomplishment when you're done. If you're looking to spice up your workout routine, I highly recommend Tricia!

If you are a first-time (or multi-time) entrepreneur looking to learn more about the fundraising process, I couldn't more highly recommend Scott Jacobson as a first person to talk to for an introduction to financing options -- he'll give you unbiased advice regarding your alternatives (and will probably recommend bootstrapping for as long as you can make that work!), and you'll leave more informed about the benefits & risks of the various alternatives.

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Amy and her staff -- I've had a bad back since I was a teenager and never did much about it, other than complain and have it go out every 6-12 months. Since I've taken this class and met with her regularly (once every 2-3 weeks), I've had no problems, and really, continue to improve. She combines strengthening exercises, massage and manipulations to enable my body to heal itself -- I couldn't more highly recommend her. And, her staff is so professional -- I never have to worry about billing or scheduling issues -- they're always on top of them.

Our friend Kim bought us three in-home swing dance classes with Chris (Mr. Hepcat) and we had a blast last night at our first class! Despite being born with 2 left feet, I still really enjoyed myself, and my wife did as well (she actually commented on it twice since). We're looking forward to next week's class, and also to bring Chris in to TeachStreet 'headquarters' to show the staff a thing or two. Of course, that means that we need to find some dance partners for our engineer staff :-)

I took this class after I bought a scooter, and wanted to learn the basics of motorcycle safety -- well, the class very literally changed my life! Not only did I learn more than I expect (I actually learned how to ride an actual motorcycle with the clutch and gears... much beyond what I expected for a basic scooter class), but it led to the idea behind TeachStreet... that is, helping people find great local classes, like this one!

I took this photography class with Mike Saylor several years ago at SCCC and really enjoyed it -- got me out of thinking about work constantly, and really spent time exploring the neighborhood and looking at things differently.

I've been a Denali Fitness member for the last 1-2 years, and am a huge fan of the gym. It's the most well-managed gym I've ever been a member of -- the machines are always perfectly maintained, and the equipment is always in tidy order (yes, I'm sounding like a fogey!). Also love that all of the aerobic machines have their own personal televisions, in the machines, so all I need to do is bring headphones for some catch-up time on CNN or ESPN :-) Also love the Saturday Yoga classes. Dave and Sang have established a great experience for Seattle residents.

OK -- I haven't personally taken soccer lessons with Kristin, but I've seen her train/coach children, and she's amazing -- she's incredibly patient, yet disciplined. Having played at the highest levels herself, she knows what it takes to excel, and she sees those glimmers in her budding stars/students. If you'd like to give your child the best chances of becoming a better player, I couldn't more highly recommend Kristin.
