I grew up in New Yawk and moved to Seattle as a young adult. I've been creating art dolls for nearly a decade. My work has been published in several doll making books and magazines like Art Doll Quarterly, Soft Dolls and Animals, Doll Crafter and Costumer, and books by leading cloth doll artist/authors Patti Culea and Li Hertzi.

Quite often, I suffer from an uncontrollable urge to create. I have been creatively inclined since I can remember, and only as an adult, I allowed myself to admit that I like to play with clay, paint, fabric, and other "stuff." I choose dolls as my media because it's so easy to combine sewing, sculpting and painting into one form.

I believe that my dolls have character. I take great care in creating them. Occasionally, I do sell a doll or two. If they decide to come back home by themselves and break free in the middle of the night, it isn't my responsibility ;-)
