Eddie Severn has been described as a trumpet players trumpet player. Equally at home playing jazz to classical to rock music, his performing career spans over 20 years. For 6 years he was lead trumpet player with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra as well as performing as a soloist in Europe and the USA. Recent performances include the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the Temptations, the Phil Woods Big Band, Simone and a recording of his new work “Eye of the beholder” featuring Phil Markowitz and Paul Rostock.

Eddie recently took up a position as Director of Jazz Studies at Lock Haven University, PA and continues to freelance as a solo performer and clinician.
