Gamo Da Paz was born in Salvador, Bahia and raised in the lineage of the Candomblé tradition of the Ketu nation. As a Master Drummer from the house of Gantois, Gamo is one of the few drummers who plays ceremonial and healing rhythms in the most renowned religious houses in Brazil and internationally.
