Review of Scott Windsor, March 08, 2011

Pretty much everything I know about Ruby on Rails, I learned under Scott's patient tutelage. That may not be much, but still, he's a patient, instructive teacher.

    • Pros:
    • Helpful, Smart, Patient, Funny

  • "Learn the tech you want at your own pace"

    Review of lynda.com, July 27, 2010

I've had an annual subscription to Lynda's library of instructional videos in the past, and I loved it. I had to make a very elaborate presentation a few years back for a start-up, and Lynda's videos on Apple Keynote took me from a relative novice to an advanced user in about a week. The teachers are great, and cover more than you might expect. Great stuff. I was giddy when I heard they'd be adding their listings to TeachStreet.

    • Pros:
    • Engaging, Smart, Good communicator
    • How was this location?:
    • Awesome

    I would recommend this teacher

Review of Nikki Chau, October 30, 2009

Yoga can seem so existential and "new age," which can seem a bit absurd to cynical types, but Nikki blows past all that and gets right to the reasoning behind the techniques and poses. That's not to say it's boring or confusing; Nikki explains things in an easy-going way, never intimidating.

    • Pros:
    • Encouraging, Patient, Fun, Good communicator
    • How was this location?:
    • Awesome
    • How was the price?:
    • Great value

    I would recommend this teacher
