Aikido Eastside is a well balanced martial arts school. Mr. Ledyard enhances the Aikido training with insights from other martial arts and life experiences. His assistant instructors are also excellent. This dojo has great camaraderie and a flexible training schedule to accommodate busy schedules. It’s a great place to practice and grow.

have been at this dojo for nearly a year. Great instruction and a great vibe with the other students. Teachers present the moves and concepts to you in a very clear- accessible manner. Students help each other and have fun... Strongly recommend if you are a serious learner or just starting.

Review of Aikido Classes for Adults, May 15, 2009
Friendly atmosphere, classes offered six days a week, beautiful dojo, and seminars with high-quality guest instructors, what’s not to like? Sensei Ledyard and many of his students have trained in several styles of martial arts, so you get a wide perspective of Aikido techniques and the whole training experience. I really enjoy the sword work and I think Sensei Ledyard is one of the best Aikido-sword instructors in the US.

Instruction is top notch and the student body is great. I often meet people who have trained several places and have chosen to call this Dojo "home". Come down and check it out. You wont' be dissappointed.
