Since 1994, our goal has been to educate the general public about Hawai'i, its people, traditional customs, values, and protocols. We do this through our workshops, cultural events, and our hula hālau: Hālau 'o Keikiali'i.

The Resource Center & Library
Through your support, the new Resource Center & Library building was completed in late 2006. It will house collected books, recordings, articles and art on Hawaiian language, culture and history.

On-Going Annual Events

* Annual Lu'au: Music, Dance, Food, Arts/Crafts, Games, Auction
* Film Festival: featuring Hawaiian based films, short stories, documentaries and movies
* Art Show: A viewing of paintings, artifacts and artwork by Halau `o Keikiali`i and friends
* Lei Contest/Auction: A judged event with beautiful leis and prizes
* Kaliko Keiki Camp: 1 week daytime camp for children 6-12 to learn lei making, language, history, dance, music, cultivation/planting, and more
* Makahiki Ceremony: Closing of the harvest season
* 'Aha Hula 'o Kapalakiko: An annual hula gathering featuring classes with different Kumu Hula of the Bay Area
