As a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and one who believes that yoga can bring peace to anyone's life, I provide guidance through 5 group classes each week throughout the East Bay as well as private instruction.
For those unfamiliar with Iyengar yoga, it is Hatha Yoga as taught by BKS Iyengar. It emphasizes the development of strength, flexibility, stamina, focus, and balance. The practice of Iyengar yoga unwinds physical knots and mental tensions.
Come to class expecting to feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and ready to face the world.

I strive to provide a safe, fun learning environment. I am a seasoned, highly trained teacher. My classes focus on alignment of the body and safety in the poses, while helping you to become more quiet and reflective inside. These classes are appropriate for students of any age. They are challenging enough for athletes but gentle enough for those who are very stiff or stressed out. If you have specific challenges such as an injury, illness, hypertension, high blood pressure, menopause, etc I can help.

Whether you want group classes, individual lessons, or preparation for successful home practice, I will provide you with the tools you need for self-guidance.
