EMMY AWARD WINNING MUSICIAN now teaching music to kids in Vancouver!
I am an enthusiastic teacher and a mentor and friend to my students. I primarily teach kids due to my understanding of their needs and my sense of humor. I make music fun. I love to laugh and love to keep my students laughing while they learn.
I help your child find the music inside of them. Each child has a special gift, it may be the instrument they choose, it may be something none of us imagined. I encourage them and lift up their confidence helping them to find their inner musician. I help children express themselves and find their own creative ability to compose and perform. Music heals hurts and strengthens our skills.
I understand children, as much as a teacher can, and understand the differences in learning styles due to the way your unique child's brain works. I seek to find the key to that learning process and unlock it so that I can help him or her eagerly fill themselves with music. I teach them, but I also help them learn to teach themselves.
I am all about the positive. If something is not working, we find something that does. Lessons are about each child's unique desires and abilities.
