Janelle Jansen Lake is a creative and diverse, full-time harpist in Chicago. Equally comfortable with solo, chamber, and orchestral works, she specializes in contemporary, jazz, and pop music. Ms. Lake teaches 30 students in her private home studio, at the Sherwood Conservatory at Columbia College, and at the Music Connection.

Janelle Lake received her Bachelors and Masters of Music from Northwestern University. There, she studied with the harpist of the Lyric Opera, Elizabeth Cifani.

Group lessons are available for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.  Meet the harp class is a fun and low commitment way to begin harp.  Adult classes meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.  Classes for children ages 5-8 meet Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
